Cory welcomes UK Plastics Pact announcement
Cory Riverside Energy welcomes the recent announcement of the UK Plastics Pact.
The pact, launched by sustainability experts WRAP, is a world-first which aims to transform the plastic packaging system in the UK and drastically reduce the amount of plastics which ends up littering and polluting the natural environment.

“The damaging impact of plastic on our environment has become an increasing concern over recent years. It’s fantastic to see a commitment from so many supermarkets, manufacturers and packaging suppliers to reduce the amount of plastic in the supply chain.
“The pact includes ambitious targets. But by bringing together businesses, policymakers, NGOs and the public, the causes of plastic waste and not just the symptoms can be tackled, thus making a significant reduction to our plastic footprint.”
