Cory Riverside Energy named in Sunday Times Grant Thornton top track 250 for the first time

Cory Riverside Energy (Cory) has been named in this year’s Sunday Times Grant Thornton Top Track 250. The list, published yesterday, is a league table of the UK’s top-performing private companies.

This is the first year that Cory has been ranked in the league table, coming in at 244th. The company is one of 14 London-based organisations that make their debut in this year’s list, alongside others such as fintech start-up Transferwise, fast food chain Five Guys and research and analysis company Euromonitor.

Commenting on the ranking, Dougie Sutherland, Cory’s CEO said: “I am immensely proud that Cory has been recognised as one of the UK’s top performing private companies. We’re working to play our part to help meet the residual waste gap in London, and it’s good to see the value of what we do being recognised.”

Fast Track has published league tables of the UK’s top-performing private companies with The Sunday Times for the past 22 years. It was founded and is run by Dr Hamish Stevenson, who also holds an associate fellowship at Green Templeton College, Oxford University.

To be included in the list, companies are required to have operating margins that exceed 2% and sales in the latest year must have grown by 5%.

We’re working to play our part to help meet the residual waste gap in London, and it’s good to see the value of what we do being recognised.
